Biography

Simcha Eichenstein is a graduate of New York's yeshiva system and a lifelong resident of Borough Park, per his official Assembly biography. Before his 2018 election, he served on Mayor de Blasio's legislative affairs team in Albany and as senior intergovernmental staff at City Hall, and spent four years as a senior aide to State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli. He was appointed Assistant Majority Whip of the Assembly in 2023. No campaign website was found as of September 9, 2026; the State Board of Elections' certification is the only verifiable source for Simcha Eichenstein.
