Biography

Emily Gallagher worked as an educator and public historian at the Tenement Museum and other local institutions, then served as community affairs director for Hostelling International starting in 2015, per her official Assembly biography. She co-chaired the activist group Neighbors Allied for Good Growth from 2008 to 2015 and wrote a weekly column for The Greenpoint Star beginning in 2015.
