Biography

Barbara Gervin Hawkins is the Democratic candidate for Texas House District 120. She holds an accounting degree from Eastern Michigan University and co-founded the George Gervin Youth Center in 1991, where she serves as executive director, and also serves as superintendent of the George Gervin Academy, per her campaign site. She has been a San Antonio community leader for more than 30 years, including service on the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce board and as a district zoning commissioner.
