Daniel Kowal is the sitting District 4 member of the Collier County Commission and its current vice chairman, per the county's official board roster. A U.S. Army veteran who served as a combat medic and a retired law enforcement officer, per his official county biography, he was first elected in 2022 and is a qualified Republican candidate for reelection on the August 18, 2026 ballot.
