Gina Tanner is the Republican nominee for Utah County Auditor and currently serves as budget manager in the Auditor's Office, according to the Lehi Free Press. She holds a master's degree in accounting, the paper reported. Tanner has said she supports the county's shift toward a target-based budgeting model and favors automating some tax-rate calculations while keeping human oversight in place, per the same source.
