Biography

Romero is serving his sixth term as state representative for House District 90 in Fort Worth and chairs the Mexican American Legislative Caucus, per the campaign site. The son of Mexican immigrant parents, he founded A-Fast Tile & Coping, growing it into a business that employed more than 60 people, and later served on the Fort Worth Zoning and Planning Commissions before his 2014 election as the first Latino state representative from Tarrant County, per the campaign site.
