Biography

Al Taylor is pastor of Infinity Mennonite Church in Harlem and founded the Man Up! in Harlem gun violence prevention program in 2008, per his Assembly member page. He previously served as Chief of Staff to Assemblyman Herman "Denny" Farrell Jr. and has represented the 71st Assembly District, covering Harlem, Washington Heights and Inwood, since a 2017 special election. No campaign website was found as of September 9, 2026; the State Board of Elections' certification is the only verifiable source for Al Taylor.
