Manny De Los Santos holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in social work from SUNY Albany and spent 13 years as a social worker and community school director in New York City public schools, per his Assembly member page. He represents the 72nd Assembly District in Northern Manhattan and has sponsored legislation on school funding, class size reduction, lithium-ion battery safety and retail worker protections.
