Huskey spent 18 years at AT&T and has worked as a U.S. Treasury program analyst and for eight years as a community liaison, per the campaign site. Huskey is a UMKC graduate and third-generation Jackson County resident who chairs the legislature's Justice and Law Enforcement Committee and its DEI Committee, per the campaign site.
