Biography

Sabrina Tapp-Harper is a retired Baltimore Police Department major who served as the department's first Black commander of the Northern District and first woman to lead its Special Investigations Division, according to her campaign site. She also served as an Assistant Sheriff with the Baltimore City Sheriff's Office, becoming the highest-ranking woman in the office's history, and won the Democratic primary over incumbent Sam Cogen, per the Baltimore Banner.
