Steve Reams is the current elected Weld County Sheriff, per the sheriff's office official site. He began his career with the Weld County Sheriff's Office in 1997 as a master control operator in the county jail and has held positions in both the Detentions Division and the Patrol Division, now overseeing roughly 450 employees across the office's Patrol, Detentions, Courts and Volunteer divisions. No campaign website was found as of September 8, 2026.
