Biography

Turner enlisted in the United States Army in January 2005 and deployed to Iraq in 2007 with the 2nd Infantry Division as an infantry fire team leader, receiving the Purple Heart, per his campaign site. He remained in the Colorado Army National Guard through 2012, then joined the Weld County Sheriff's Office as a corrections officer that year, advancing through positions including public information officer, detentions sergeant, patrol sergeant, detentions lieutenant and detentions captain, per his campaign site. He currently serves as Captain of the Administrative Division, per his campaign site.
