Julia Salazar is the Democratic candidate for New York Senate District 18 on the November 3, 2026 ballot, per the State Board of Elections' certified general-election ballot. Julia Salazar is a sitting member for the district, per the State Senate's member directory. Salazar worked as a community organizer with Jews for Racial and Economic Justice on criminal justice and police accountability issues before her 2018 election, per her official Senate page.
