Cam Wright is a 30-year U.S. Air Force veteran who retired as a Lieutenant Colonel, and a retired University of Wyoming engineering professor and former dean, per his campaign site. He is the Republican candidate for Wyoming House District 46.

Wilken is a retired United Methodist pastor and former Albany County Sheriff's Office detention deputy, corporal and patrol officer who also worked as an Albany County code enforcement officer, per the campaign site. He holds a history degree from Colorado State University and a Master of Divinity from Pacific School of Religion, and served as a liaison between the sheriff's office and the county's drug, mental health and homeless courts, per the campaign site.
