Mark Becker is a small-business owner who previously served as chairperson of the Republican Party of Brown County and as a Brown County supervisor, per Door County Daily News. He currently hosts a radio show in Green Bay and left the Republican Party after the 2016 presidential election, and is now running for the Senate seat as an independent. No campaign website was found as of September 7, 2026.

He worked as district director for State Senator Andre Jacque for more than five years and was raised on his family's dairy farm in New Franken, a homestead his family has held since 1854.
