Mike Volz is the Chief Deputy Treasurer for Spokane County and a candidate for Spokane County Treasurer, per his campaign site. He is a licensed CPA with an MBA from Gonzaga University and a bachelor's degree from Eastern Washington University, and he is a U.S. Army veteran, per his campaign site. He has also served as an adjunct professor at Whitworth University's business school, per his campaign site.
