Biography

Ashley Bartley works in human resources and has represented the Franklin-1 House district of Fairfax and part of Georgia as a Republican state representative since 2023, currently serving as vice chair of the House Committee on General and Housing, according to the Messenger. She is running for the open Vermont Senate seat in the Chittenden-North district and has been an advocate for building more housing and making it more affordable, per the Messenger and her campaign site.

Irene Wrenner served twelve years on the Essex Selectboard before representing the Chittenden-North district in the Vermont Senate from 2023 to 2025, where she served as clerk of the Senate committees on agriculture and institutions as well as two oversight committees, according to the Messenger. She says she would vote as an independent in the chamber if elected again. No campaign website was found as of September 11, 2026; the Secretary of State's candidate list is the only verifiable source for Irene Wrenner.
