Greg Abbott to the newly created court, won over Ryan Bownds by more than 10,000 votes, per the Austin American-Statesman's report on the county's canvass. Moore was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott in March 2026 as Judge of the 512th District Court in Williamson County, per the campaign site. Moore is a Board-Certified attorney who has tried over 100 felony jury cases across Texas as a career prosecutor. Moore has received the Williamson County Crime Victims Advocate Hall of Fame award and the Texas District and County Attorneys Association's Lone Star Prosecutor honor.
