Biography

Borris L. Miles is the Democratic candidate for Texas Senate District 13 and the sitting senator, elected to the Senate in 2016 after four terms in the Texas House, per his campaign site. He is a businessman who owns one of the largest insurance agencies in Texas and founded the TexStars Foundation, which has awarded more than 200 scholarships.
