Joe Moody serves as Speaker Pro Tempore of the Texas House of Representatives and as senior counsel for WestStar Bank, according to the Texas House's official biography. A lifelong El Paso resident, he founded the Criminal Justice Reform Caucus and has focused his legislative work on preventing wrongful convictions and revising penalties for drug and juvenile offenders.
