Biography

Herrera has served as Justice of the Peace for Precinct 3 in El Paso County since being sworn in on January 1, 2019, per the campaign site. Before taking office, Herrera served as a Criminal Law Magistrate for El Paso County from 2015 to 2018. Herrera is a graduate of Cathedral High School and UTEP who studied law at the University of Utah Law School, and has chaired the Council of Justices of the Peace for two consecutive years.
