Terri Leo Wilson spent 38 years as a teacher, case manager, and department administrator serving middle school students with special needs, according to the Texas House's official biography. She earned undergraduate degrees in elementary and special education and a master's degree in educational administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce, and served three elected terms on the State Board of Education before her election to the Texas House.
