Biography

Kowalski-Garza has practiced law for more than 33 years, including as a state prosecutor in the Cameron County District Attorney's Office, an assistant United States attorney from 1995 to 2002, and first-chair prosecutor under District Attorney Luis V. Saenz since 2013, per the campaign site. Kowalski-Garza has taught criminal law and procedure at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley since 2003, per the campaign site.
