Jennifer Stewart is an educator with a master's degree in political science from the University of Chicago and previously chaired a humanities department for seven years, according to her General Assembly biography. She received a 2018-2019 Fulbright Distinguished Award and studied in Finland, and completed a National Endowment for the Humanities fellowship on cartographic history. Stewart represents the Oak Hill and Woodlawn neighborhoods of Pawtucket.
