Biography

Suzanna Alba is the director of civic education for the Rhode Island Department of State and an adjunct instructor in the communication department at Rhode Island College, per her campaign site. She served on the Smithfield Town Council from 2012 to 2022, including two terms as council president, and co-founded the Smithfield Youth Council. Alba is a first-generation college graduate of Rhode Island College and Roger Williams University.

Paul Santucci has worked as a financial advisor since 1992, with an office in Lincoln, according to his General Assembly biography. He served as Smithfield Town Council President from 2017 to 2018 and on the town's 2020 Charter Review Commission. He has lived in Smithfield for more than 50 years and serves on the House Environment and Natural Resources, Innovation and Technology, Small Business, and Veterans' Affairs committees. No campaign website was found as of September 11, 2026; the Department of State's declared-candidates report is the only verifiable source for Paul M. Santucci.
