Biography

Anthony H. Williams is the Democratic state senator for Senate District 8, representing parts of Delaware and Philadelphia counties, per the Pennsylvania General Assembly's website. He previously served in the state House from 1989 to 1998 before joining the Senate, and holds an economics degree from Franklin and Marshall College. Williams is the Senate Democratic Minority Caucus Chair and minority chair of the Community, Economic and Recreational Development Committee, per his legislative profile.
