Moore has served as a Magistrate at the Stark County Court of Common Pleas for more than six years and has practiced law in Stark County for nearly two decades, per her campaign site. She holds a bachelor's degree in English from Malone University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law, and has argued cases before the Ohio Supreme Court and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
