Jonas is an attorney with more than 35 years of experience in family and criminal law, having worked as a prosecutor, magistrate, public defender and private attorney, per her Ashtabula County Republican Party candidate page. She holds a law degree from the University of Akron and is the Republican nominee for the Common Pleas Court's Probate and Juvenile Division judgeship.
