Biography

William (Bill) Wood is the Guilford County Resident Superior Court Judge, appointed by Governor Roy Cooper on May 20, 2018, succeeding Resident Superior Court Judge Lindsay Davis upon his retirement, per the North Carolina Judicial Branch. He served as a Guilford County Assistant District Attorney from 1989 to 2018, and holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Lenoir-Rhyne College and a J.D. from the North Carolina Central University School of Law, per the same source.
