She previously worked as a defense attorney, as general counsel to the NC Department of Health and Human Services, and as executive director of the NC Housing Coalition, per Indy Week and WRAL. She holds a Princeton BA and Duke JD and MBA. No campaign website was found as of September 8, 2026.
