Miller is a family law attorney with 30 years of legal experience serving the Fayetteville community, per the campaign site. Miller earned a B.A. in journalism from UNC Chapel Hill and a Juris Doctorate from NCCU School of Law. A Cumberland County native who attended 71st Elementary, Lewis Chapel Middle and 71st High schools, Miller is running for the district court seat currently held by a retiring judge.
