Biography

Jon Estreich is a Long Island native raising his family in Dix Hills who holds the rank of Major in the U.S. Army Reserve, per the campaign site. He previously served as a Suffolk County prosecutor, counsel to the governor, an attorney at the Department of Homeland Security, and an investigative attorney at the MTA Inspector General's office, per the campaign site.

Dan Losquadro is the sitting Brookhaven Town Superintendent of Highways, a post he has held since 2013, per the NYS Association of Town Superintendents of Highways. He previously served in the Suffolk County Legislature beginning in 2003, becoming majority leader in 2006, and in the New York State Assembly representing District 1 from 2011 to 2013, per the association. He is the Republican nominee for Suffolk County Comptroller, the seat of term-limited incumbent Comptroller John M.
