Bodkin, of Port Washington, was appointed by the Nassau County Legislature on March 9, 2026 to serve as Judge of the District Court for the Third Judicial District, after nearly 20 years in the New York court system, per Long Island Press and an official Nassau County Legislature announcement. He previously served as senior principal law clerk to an Appellate Division justice, as village justice in Manorhaven, and as chief court attorney in Nassau County Supreme Court. No campaign website was found as of September 27, 2026.
