Biography

Brian Green was appointed Monroe County District Attorney by Gov. Kathy Hochul in September 2025, per the county government's official biography. He previously served roughly a decade as a Monroe County assistant district attorney, including as deputy chief of the Major Felony Bureau, and as senior deputy county attorney in the county's Law Department, the same source states. He has also served as Irondequoit Town Justice, as a supervising assistant special prosecutor for the New York State Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs, as elections counsel for the Ohio Secretary of State's office, and as a law clerk for a senior U.S. District Court judge, per the county's biography. Green holds a law degree from Capital University Law School and an undergraduate degree from SUNY Brockport, per the same source. No campaign website was found as of September 10, 2026; the official roster and election filing is the only verifiable source for Brian Green.
