Brian-Christopher A. Cunningham served as chief of staff in the New York City Council and as a special assistant in the State Senate, and was the first person elected to run a Cure Violence site in New York City, focused on reducing gun violence in central Brooklyn, before his 2022 election to the Assembly, per his official Assembly biography. He also worked as a youth adviser with CAMBA and NPower and supported President Obama's My Brother's Keeper Alliance. No campaign website was found as of September 9, 2026; the State Board of Elections' certification is the only verifiable source for Brian-Christopher A. Cunningham.
