Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court, Division XIX

Andrea Inez Gunderson is a judge of the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court, Civil Division, appointed in March 2025, per her campaign site. She previously served as a Special Commissioner for the Second Judicial Children's Court and as an Assistant District Attorney in Bernalillo County prosecuting DWI and domestic violence cases, and spent more than ten years in private practice handling child welfare, criminal defense and civil litigation, per her campaign site. She holds a B.A., an M.B.A. and a J.D. from the University of New Mexico, and has volunteered for over a decade teaching evidence and trial practice at the UNM School of Law.
