Ted Japp is a retired chiropractor who practiced privately for 33 years after earning his doctor of chiropractic degree in 1981, per the Norfolk Daily News. He is a fifth-generation Washington County resident who served on the Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District Board from 2017 to 2025, per the Norfolk Daily News. He is seeking the District 16 seat being vacated by term-limited Sen. Ben Hansen.
