Biography

McCreery represents District 24 in the Missouri Senate after four terms in the Missouri House, first elected in a 2011 special election as the first woman in the state to serve as an independent before later running as a Democrat, per the campaign site. Before entering the legislature she worked in sales, training and management for consumer health care and telecommunications firms, served as a district aide to a state senator and in Governor Bob Holden's administration, and later worked for Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Citizens for Missouri's Children, per the campaign site. She earned a business administration degree with a marketing focus from Ohio State University, per the campaign site.
