Biography

Maki is a Platte County resident and small business owner in the technology industry, per the campaign site. He previously lived in Hennepin County, Minnesota. As a private citizen he studied Missouri's Sunshine Law and pursued an open records case that led to a large settlement, for which he was recognized as a Sunshine Hero by the Missouri Press Association and the Missouri Sunshine Coalition. He also coaches youth football with the YMCA and the Catholic Youth Organization.
