Biography

Lane J. Roberts spent more than 40 years in law enforcement, including serving as Joplin's police chief during the 2011 EF-5 tornado, and later as director of the Missouri Department of Public Safety, per FourStatesHomepage.com. He has served as the term-limited Missouri House District 161 representative since 2018, per Carthage News Online.
