Louis McNutt is a union leader and Buffalo, Minnesota resident of more than 10 years who is the DFL-endorsed candidate for Minnesota Senate District 29, per his campaign site and the Delano Herald Journal, running against incumbent Republican Sen. Michael Holmstrom Jr.

Michael Holmstrom Jr is a small business owner from Buffalo who was elected to the Minnesota Senate in a November 2025 special election after the death of Sen.
