Denley Kompelien is Sibley County's Chief Deputy Sheriff, running for sheriff in 2026 after Sheriff Patrick Nienaber announced his retirement, per the Arlington Enterprise. He began his law enforcement career with the Gaylord Police Department in 2017 and joined the Sibley County Sheriff's Office in 2019. No campaign website was found as of September 6, 2026.
