Biography

Napper was born and raised in Philadelphia and earned her bachelor's degree from American University, and she has lived in south Minneapolis for more than 25 years, per the campaign site. She has worked as a graphic designer since 1992, founding her own design firm in 2002, and she previously served as communications director for the Minnesota House Republican Caucus, per the campaign site.

Zaynab Mohamed worked as a senior policy aide for the City of Minneapolis before her election to the Minnesota Senate, per the Minnesota Legislative Reference Library.
