Rebecca Amidon is the Democratic nominee for Michigan Senate District 32 on the November 3, 2026 ballot, per the Michigan Secretary of State's official August 4, 2026 primary results. Amidon is an adjunct communication professor at Mid Michigan College with more than 10 years of experience in higher education, according to her campaign site. She holds a master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Trine University and an undergraduate degree from Purdue University Fort Wayne. She is running for the open 32nd Senate District seat.

Kim Cole is the Republican nominee for Michigan Senate District 32 on the November 3, 2026 ballot, per the Michigan Secretary of State's official August 4, 2026 primary results. Cole is the Mason County Sheriff, elected in 2012 after 40 years with the Mason County Sheriff's Office, according to the Oceana County Press. Cole is a fifth-generation Mason County resident whose great-great-grandfather also served as county sheriff. Cole is running for the open 32nd Senate District seat.
