Michael L. Crabtree is the Chief Deputy of the Washington County Sheriff's Office, of Whiting, per the Bangor Daily News. Crabtree has worked in law enforcement for more than three decades, beginning with the sheriff's office in 1992 and including assignments with the Passamaquoddy Tribe and the state's drug enforcement agency, per the Bangor Daily News. Crabtree is running to succeed Sheriff Barry Curtis, who is not seeking reelection, per the Bangor Daily News. No campaign website was found as of September 20, 2026.
