Echols is a lifelong Northshore resident raised in Slidell and has practiced law for more than 25 years in tax, business, estate planning and civil litigation, most recently of counsel at Blue Williams in Mandeville, per her campaign website. She earned a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans and a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida, and was selected by LexisNexis in 2023 to author a chapter of Louisiana Business and Commercial Law, per the same source.
