Biography

Shawn McPherson was raised on his parents' dairy farm in Monroe County and earned degrees in agri-business and animal nutrition from Western Kentucky University, per the campaign site. He worked as a staff appraiser for the Kentucky Department of Transportation before starting his own appraisal business, and for the past 20 years has served as CFO of family-owned assisted living facilities in Glasgow and Providence, per the campaign site. McPherson is a candidate for Kentucky House District 22.
