Trey Webb won the Republican primary with 441 votes to Audrey S. Mundell's 223, per the Kentucky State Board of Elections' certified Meade County primary canvass; Mundell does not appear on the county's official January 9, 2026 candidate filings document, an unresolved discrepancy this session could not settle. Tom Hollis filed as the sole Democratic candidate, per the same filing document, and had no primary opponent. Webb and Hollis meet in November.
