Biography

Curtis has spent more than 25 years in state and local government, including as a city arts administrator and economic development officer, an assistant to Governor John Carlin, director of constituent services, and eight years as chief of staff to Mayor Joe Reardon, per the campaign site. She also co-owned a commercial photography business for 13 years and has served in the Kansas House since 2014, per the campaign site. A lifelong Wyandotte County resident, she is married to Steve Curtis and has one son, per the campaign site.
