Biography

David H. Friess was born and raised in Southern Illinois, graduated from Chester High School, and enlisted in the Air Force before joining the reserves, including service during Desert Storm, per his Illinois House of Representatives biography. He later worked for Delta Airlines, earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Mercer University, and a Juris Doctorate from John Marshall Law School, per the same source. Friess has served as Representative since 2021. No campaign website was found as of September 20, 2026.
